How we grade raisins
- Variety and colour — lots are sorted by grape type and colour (green, yellow, golden, brown, black) so a lot looks uniform.
- Size and shape — long and round berries are kept apart and sorted by size; larger, even berries make the top grades.
- Cleaning — stems, caps, stones, dust and broken berries are removed before packing.
- Moisture and feel — we check that berries are soft and plump but not sticky, and store them cool and dry.
- Packing — food-grade liners in bulk cartons, or retail pouches, labelled by variety and grade.
Tell us your use — mithai, bakery, retail pouch, gifting or export — and we will suggest the variety and grade that fits your price.

Raisins — FAQ
Where is your raisin factory?
Our raisin (kishmish) factory is at 18/2B & 18/5, Solapur Road, NH13, Tidagundi 586119, Bijapur (Vijayapura), Karnataka, India. Our head office is in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
Which raisin varieties do you supply?
Fourteen: golden round, golden long, yellow round, yellow long, green long, green round, Sunder Khani, Malayar, brown (long and round), black seedless, Kali Manukka (black with seeds), Munakka, Kandhari and industrial/bakery grade. Kandhari and Afghan-type Abjosh are imported types that we source on request.
What is the difference between long and round raisins?
Long raisins usually come from long-berried seedless grapes and are slimmer and softer; round raisins come from round-berried grapes and look plumper. Round golden and yellow raisins are popular for premium packs and gifting; long green raisins are the classic everyday kishmish.
Why are some raisins golden or green and others brown or black?
Colour depends on the grape and on how it is dried. Green, yellow and golden raisins are dried from green grapes in shade so they keep a light colour; sun drying gives brown raisins; black raisins come from black grapes.
Do you sell raisins in bulk and in retail packs?
Yes — bulk cartons for wholesalers, sweet makers, bakeries and importers, and retail pouches. Share the variety, quantity and delivery city or country on WhatsApp or through the enquiry form for a quote.
Can I get samples and a spec before ordering?
Yes, for serious trade enquiries we share samples and the grade details of the current lot before you confirm an order.
