Who we are

VISAVA GROUP is a food business that buys, grades and packs raisins (kishmish). We sell under the VISAVA brand to wholesalers, distributors, retailers, sweet makers, bakeries and food businesses across India, and to importers abroad. More dry fruits are planned under our tagline “Spices and Dry Fruits”.

We work close to where the crop comes from. Our raisin unit is on the Solapur Road (NH13) at Tidagundi near Vijayapura (Bijapur), in Karnataka’s grape belt — the region that, together with Sangli and Tasgaon in Maharashtra, makes most of India’s raisins.

• Raisins (kishmish): 14 varieties, including golden round (our signature), green, yellow, Sunder Khani, brown, black, Malayar and Munakka. See our Vijayapura factory.
• Packing: bulk cartons with food-grade liners and retail pouches, labelled by variety and grade.
• For whom: wholesale buyers in India and importers abroad.

How we work

• Graded lots: raisins are sorted by colour, shape and size and cleaned of stems, caps and foreign matter before packing.
• Specification in writing: we confirm grade, packing and quantity with each quote.
• Samples for serious buyers, so you can check size, colour and taste yourself.
• Honest information: descriptions on this site are general information, and we only state what we can back up.
